Pelvic Pain Matters Ltd — Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Pelvic Pain Matters website, community platforms, programmes, content, and related services (together referred to as the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Pelvic Pain Matters Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Purpose and Nature of the Platform

Pelvic Pain Matters provides:

  • education and information relating to persistent pelvic pain

  • shared learning and reflection

  • moderated peer support and community discussion

The Platform is educational and supportive in nature.

It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or personalised healthcare.

3. No Medical Advice or Clinical Relationship

The content and discussions on this Platform are provided for general educational purposes only.

They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not be relied upon as such.

Participation in the Platform does not create a clinician–patient, therapist–client, or healthcare professional relationship between you and Pelvic Pain Matters Ltd, its contributors, moderators, or affiliates.

You should always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical concerns, symptoms, or treatment decisions.

4. User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You remain fully responsible for your own health decisions

  • Any actions you take based on information from the Platform are taken at your own discretion

  • The Platform is intended to complement, not replace, professional healthcare

Pelvic Pain Matters Ltd is not responsible for outcomes resulting from how you interpret or apply information shared on the Platform.

5. Community Participation

By participating in community spaces (including Circle or other hosted platforms), you agree to:

  • follow the Community Guidelines

  • engage respectfully and responsibly

  • refrain from giving medical advice or directing others’ care

  • respect confidentiality and privacy

We reserve the right to moderate content, remove posts or comments, or suspend or terminate access where necessary to maintain safety, boundaries, and community standards.

6. User-Generated Content

You are responsible for the content you post or share.

By submitting content, you grant Pelvic Pain Matters Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content within the Platform for the purposes of operating and improving the service.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of user-generated content.

7. Not for Emergencies or Crisis Support

The Platform is not monitored for urgent or emergency situations.

If you are experiencing acute distress, worsening symptoms, or are at risk of harm, you should contact emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional immediately.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including text, videos, audio, graphics, and course materials, is the intellectual property of Pelvic Pain Matters Ltd unless otherwise stated.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on Platform content

  • We do not guarantee outcomes, improvements, or recovery
